electrocaïne’s X-Series focuses on hip-hop and beats while staying true to the label’s colour. We’ve reached out to two Chicago-based artists; Lapgan who’s a beatmaker and megiapa who’s a producer and melodist. This single announces Lapgan x megiapa’s upcoming EP in November 2020.

Liminal State of Mind reflects the uncertain nature of the current moment in history. We are facing constant dualities; the duality of hope and hopelessness, conviction and doubt, involvement and isolation, revolution and regression. This track evokes the feeling of existing between spheres and eventually finding peace amidst it all. We've invited Casablanca's beat-maker, Saib, for his interpretation on this piece.
